We get back to Southampton airport, we are waiting for the luggage and suddenly his body has gone into spasm and he cant move. They have to lift him up, put him in a wheelchair and wheel him out to his car. The kitman had to drive him home.Five years later and hes still playing for Portsmouth. He scored the goal in the semi-final and scored the only goal in the final to win the cup.Kanu went on to play 165 games for Portsmouth before retiring in 2012 and helped them to lift the FA Cup in 2008.
