Arsenal appealed the card but the Football Association have decided the 23-year-old must serve a three-match ban.The decision means Torreira is ruled out of Sunday’s clash against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium, before later missing the home game with Newcastle on April 1 and the trip to Everton on April 7.The north London derby ended in a 1-1 draw after Hugo Lloris saved a last-minute penalty from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Harry Kane had earlier levelled from 12 yards when Spurs were awarded a controversial spot kick of their own. Arsenal will be back in action on Thursday night in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie against Rennes in France.Torreira is eligible for the European clash as his ban is only for domestic games, but Alex Lacazette, the forward, is suspended as he picked up a red card against BATE Borisov in the previous round. You can listen to full commentary of Thursday’s match LIVE on talkSPORT 2, kick-off 5:55pm.
