Mark Hudson has revealed to talkSPORT he does not know if Huddersfield Town are any closer to appointing a new manager.After three and a half years at the John Smiths Stadium, the Terriers parted company with manager David Wagner with the team rooted to the bottom of the table.2

Hudson had a tough afternoon in charge of Huddersfield

In his place, Hudson was placed in temporary charge for the visit of defending Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday.With plenty of banners singing the Germans praise, it was clear to see just how loved the former boss was but it was not enough to stop City romping to a 3-0 win.After the game, Hudson admitted he did not know who the next manager would be as relegation to the Championship looms ominously over the club.Well I was asked to take it this week and oversee it all heading into the game and take the game, Hudson told talkSPORTs Guy Clarke.And thats where we are.
